The project will result in improvements to Emmet Street for people with disabilities and all modes of transportation – pedestrians, vehicles, bicycles, and transit riders – between Arlington Boulevard to the north and University Avenue/Ivy Road to the south. The state awarded the City about $12 million to design and construct the improvements to this segment of Emmet Street, which is about 0.60 miles in length.
